Osaka World Expo, 2025

“beautiful, interesting and evocative…”

Gina Williams & Guy Ghouse

17 days, 40 shows, five world premieres

  • REACHING JAPAN

We presented daily shows, bringing in around 15,000 listeners.

Through live narration of our shows in both Japanese and English, we were able to connect and share stories, and talk to multiple fans after shows.

Language allowed us to champion emerging Australian artists, talk about climate change, bushfires and the impact of colonisation on First Nations Australians, communicating a modern Australia to a global audience.

    AUSTRALIAN VOICES

Our show celebrated uniquely Australian voices through working alongside numerous emerging and established composers: Hayley Wolters, Imogen Ferdinando, Nick Russoniello, Keyna Wilkins, Lachlan Skipworth, Kate Miller-Heidke, with a touch of AC/DC and Duo Aki’s own original compositions.

We were caught on a few cameras - catch a glimpse below!
